My bread machine died. At least I'm pretty sure it's dead. The kneading blade won't turn any more.
SO:
I mixed up a batch of bread dough and
Kneaded It By Hand
and
I am now on my way into the kitchen
to get two loaves of
COMPLETELY
made-by-me
bread out of the oven.
Boo-YAH.
Boo-YAH, indeed! Way to go Able Baker Magpie Mommy! I bet it was delicious! Your post almost reads like a haiku. Making bread by hand is an art form (sadly, almost a lost one).
ReplyDeleteHello! from one blogger with a paltry readership to another! :) (mine is even paltri-er than yours)--I make bread, and once had a bread machine, but did not like the bread it produced. LOVE the stuff made by hand. NEVER lasts into a second day at my house.
ReplyDeleteI even like stories about bread baking! (hmm, maybe my nerdy interests have something to do with my paltry readership...nah!) My favorite is called Bread Alone by Judith R Hendricks and spurred the creation of a real bakeries in New York of the same name--Bread Alone locations.
Blessings and Peace!
